The ability to provide a broader range of care from assisted living and dementia care to skilled nursing care provides distinct advantages over "stand-alone" assisted living facilities and nursing homes in the region. The assisted living facility will allow residents to stay in their chosen community as well as 'age in place', meaning they won't have to move out of the area to obtain assisted living and the same local facility can provide for their care as their needs change over time.
